In 2006 Dataspeed partnered with GFP Enterprises, Inc. in Sisters to design, implement and maintain a satellite based internet service solution for several FEMA relief worker camps in hurricane-stricken Southern Louisiana. This contract included the establishment of multiple WiFi networks spanning a one-half square mile area.
Despite a complete lack of infrastructure in the devastated areas, Dataspeed Computing displayed skill, resourcefulness and commitment, doing whatever it took to deliver on their promises. They did just that, and ultimately helped GFP Enterprises to secure additional business.
